摘要：Apparatus and methods are discussed for constructing a valve (12,14)
comprising a sealing member (34) and a hollow ball (32) operable to sealingly engage thesealing member (34). A guide housing (38) is disposed about the hollow ball (32) and does
not constrain rotation of the hollow ball (32). A spring (36) is disposed between thehollow ball (32) and the guide housing (38) so as to bias the hollow ball (32) into sealingengagement with the sealing member (34). The hollow ball (32) is constructed from twounequal sized portions (62,64) and may comprise a hollow, spherical body (62) having anaperture (68) and a plug (64) sized so as to closely fit within the aperture (68).
