介绍自己和一个朋友的三餐运动英语作文

My Name is Tommy and I'm 10 Years Old

Hi there! My name is Tommy and I'm 10 years old. I'm in the 5th grade at Oakwood Elementary School. I live with my mom, dad, and little sister Suzie who is 7. We live in a house with a big backyard where I love to play!

I have lots of friends at school, but my best buddy is Jack. Jack and I have known each other since kindergarten and we do everything together. We are both on the school's soccer team and we love sports and being active. Jack lives just down the street from me which is really convenient.

I'm going to tell you all about my typical day, including what Jack and I eat for our three meals and the activities and exercise we do. I'll start with breakfast! My Delicious Breakfast

I always wake up really hungry for breakfast. My mom makes me something yummy and nutritious to start my day off right. My favorite breakfast is scrambled eggs with cheese, turkey bacon, and whole wheat toast with strawberry jam. My mom also gives me a big glass of orange juice which I slurp down quickly.

Sometimes I'll have oatmeal instead, made with milk and topped with bananas, raisins, a sprinkle of brown sugar and cinnamon. So tasty! Occasionally for a treat, my mom will make chocolate chip pancakes. No matter what, breakfast is my favorite meal.

Jack's breakfast is pretty similar. His mom makes him eggs or oatmeal too. But instead of orange juice, he drinks a big glass of cold milk. Jack's favorite is when his mom makes him a breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese and ham on an English muffin. He thinks that's the best!

After Breakfast Playtime

After I'm done eating my delicius breakfast, I get dressed and head outside to play before the school bus comes. Jack comes over to my house and we spend about an hour running around in the backyard playing soccer, basketball, tag, or whatever we feel like.

This helps us get some good exercise and work up an appetite for lunch! By the time the bus comes, we are tired and hungry again. Recess right after lunch is my favorite time of the school day.

A Tasty Lunch

For lunch, my mom packs me a sandwich or leftovers from last night's dinner, a fruit, a veggie snack like carrots or celery with ranch dip, and a few cookies or pretzels for a treat. She also includes a juice box or small milk carton.

My favorite lunch is a turkey and cheese sandwich on whole wheat bread with mayo, lettuce and tomato. I also really like when she packs me last night's leftover pizza lunchable with a side salad.

Jack's mom packs him something pretty similar. But instead of turkey, he prefers ham and cheese on a sub roll with mustard. His favorite veggie is cucumber slices. For a treat he loves when his mom includes an oatmeal raisin cookie or a pack of baked potato chips.

Recess is our favorite part of the day! We burn off so much energy running around on the playground equipment, playing kickball or just goofing off. It really works up our appetites for an after-school snack. An Energizing Snack

When I get home from school around 3pm, my mom always has a healthy snack waiting for me. It's usually something like apple slices with peanut butter, yogurt with granola and berries,

or veggie sticks with hummus. She knows I need an energy boost before heading to my soccer practice!

Jack's after-school snack is similar - carrot sticks, a cheese stick, or a small box of raisins. His mom always gives him something nutritious but tasty to refuel him until dinnertime. Soccer Practice

A couple of days per week, Jack and I have soccer practice right after school from 3:30-5pm. We absolutely love soccer and are so grateful our parents signed us up to play. It's such an amazing way to get daily exercise while practicing our favorite sport.

At practice, we start with stretching and running laps to warm up. Then we do drills and scrimmage matches for a few hours. By the end, we are drenched in sweat and completely tuckered out! Playing soccer is definitely our favorite way to stay active.

A Hearty Dinner

After soccer, I am ravenous when I get home! I can't wait to eat a big, hearty dinner that my mom cooks for us. We have things like:

Grilled chicken, brown rice, roasted broccoli

Whole wheat spaghetti with turkey meatballs and a salad Baked salmon, sweet potato fries, steamed green beans Tacos with ground turkey, black beans, lettuce, tomato and cheese

My mom always makes sure we get a balanced meal with a lean protein, whole grains, fruits and veggies. But she lets us have a small treat too like a scoop of ice cream or baked cookies for dessert.

Jack's family tends to eat very similarly for dinner. His favorite is when his mom makes chili or beef stew. He's not as big a fan of fish as I am, but his parents make him eat it because it's good for him.

After Dinner Activities

After I've finished my dinner and helped clear the table, Jack usually comes over to my house to play for a little while. We'll go outside and play basketball, ride our bikes around the neighborhood, or just have a running contest in the backyard. On nights when we don't have soccer, we make sure to get in at least an hour of physical activity or active play before it gets dark out. My parents really prioritize making sure we get the recommended 60 minutes of exercise per day.

As it starts to get closer to my 8pm bedtime, we'll come inside and maybe watch a little TV, read books or play a board game or video game. But we try not to be total couch potatoes! Bedtime and The Next Day

Around 8pm, I start getting ready for bed. I take a shower or bath, put on my pajamas, and brush my teeth really well. Then my mom lets me read for a half hour or so before having to go to sleep at 8:30pm. Getting plenty of rest is so important for growing kids like me!

Then the next morning, I wake up feeling refreshed and energized to start the whole cycle over again - a nutritious breakfast, some outdoor play, a yummy lunch, after-school snack, soccer practice, family dinner and more playtime before bed. Every day, my friend Jack and I make sure we are eating three hearty, balanced meals and getting at least an hour of physical activity and exercise. Our parents do a great job ensuring we have energy, stamina and make heathy choices. Even though we're just kids, we know how important it is to take care of our bodies. That's my typical day! Let me know if you have any other questions.
