摘要：The invention provides consistent settings between local and remote
parameter adjustments of both local and remote HMI. A dial () is superimposed on abistable display substrate (), having an indicator () configured to be manually aligned witha displayed character representing a manual setting of a parameter value for controllinglocal equipment. A network interface () is connected over a communications network () toa remote HMI (), configured to receive a new parameter value for controlling the localequipment (). A controller () samples the current position of the indicator () of the dial (),and provides a control input signal () to the bistable display substrate () to control adisplay of the new parameter value in the current position of the indicator () of the dial ()and to provide the new parameter value to the local equipment ().
