⒈不对称有机合成及不对称催化的研究
主要研究手性化合物作为有机催化剂在不对称合成中的催化应用、手性配体及其过渡金属配合物的制备及不对称催化作用、以沸石等的纳米孔道作为微反应器进行的不对称合成反应。

马钰(公元1123--1183)原名从义,字宜甫,后更名钰,字玄宝,号丹阳子,故亦称马丹阳。山东宁海(今山东牟平)人。家富,号“马半州”。弱冠能诗,擅针灸。金大定七年(1167)七月,王重阳到宁海传道,遂与妻孙不二师事之,后抛弃巨大家业,皈依重阳君出家,励行苦节,专务清静。重阳君临终时授以全真秘诀、托以弘教大业。 是武侠小说作家金庸《射雕英雄传》笔下人物之一。
元世祖至元六年(公元1269)赠为“丹阳抱一无为真人”。世称“丹阳真人”。为“北七真”之一。以*、传承他的教理、思想为主的门人派别称为全真遇仙派,简称遇仙派。

重阳祖师将羽化之时,告丹阳留世语:“丹阳已得道,长真已知道。吾无虑矣!长生、长春则犹未也,长春所学一听丹阳,命长真当管长生。后重阳祖师羽化于夷门,心丧三年,默坐环堵。”
马丹阳悟道神速,《盘山录》说:丹阳真人以悟生死而了道速,其旨如何?答云:修行之人,当观此身如一死囚,牵挽入市,步步近死,以死为念事事割弃,虽有声色景物纷华,周匝围绕,目无所见,耳无所闻,念念尽忘,此身亦舍,何况其他?以此炼心,故见功疾。邱长春言,马丹阳证道费时三年,谭长真五年,刘长生七年,邱自己则费时十七八年。

马丹阳继承重阳性命双修理论,以清静无为而定全真*风貌,以心合性,以神气释性命而终以静净无为统道。弟子极多,著名者十人,弟子李守宁为元初四大高道之一。 著有《神光璨》、《洞玄金玉集》等 。
