a lot of后面可以接可数名词，也可以接不可数名词。

a lot of表示许多、大量，相当于many或much，通常作书面用语，用在更加正式的场合里。a lot of接可数名词时谓语用复数，接不可数名词时谓语用单数。

a lot of+可数名词复数+动词复数，例如a lot of shoes 很多双鞋；a lot of papers很多张纸。a lot of+不可数名词+动词单数，例如a lot of fun 很多乐趣；a lot of snow 很多雪；a lot of work 很多工作。
